Local Women Making a Difference
One Local Charity At a Time
Who are 100 Women Who Care Golden Triangle?
We are local women from all walks of life interested in giving back to our community by supporting non-profits in northeast Lake County. Four times a year, we gather for just one hour to learn about needs in our community from non-profit charities nominated by our members. The group selects a charity by vote. Each member donates $100 directly to the non-profit with the greatest number of votes. By giving collaboratively, our donations make a much greater impact on the non-profit than we could ever make individually, enabling the charities to make a significant difference serving needs in our local community.
Why should I join?
We are local women helping local charities serve needs in our immediate community.
Our members have an active role in choosing where their donations go.
Your $100 donation makes a much greater impact when joined with those of other women.
The process is simple, effective, and requires just one hour of your time, four times a year.
Our mission is to help smaller, local non-profits that don’t receive significant funding from large grants or national organizations.
We are a volunteer-led group. 100% of your donation goes to a local charity.
We invite you to become part of this powerful group. Help us make a difference in our northeast Lake County community!

Listen
We listen to short 5-minute presentations from 3 local non-profits nominated by members.
Any member who has attended at least one meeting may nominate a non-profit. Nominations for 501(c)3 charities are accepted up until three (3) weeks prior to the meeting. Non-profits not previously invited will be selected first. Charities that have presented previously may be randomly selected and invited back. See “How it Works” for more details.
Each member comes prepared to give $100 to the charity chosen by the group. Women under 30 may join with a $50 donation per meeting.
Vote
Members vote on which of the three non-profits will receive the collective donation. Those who join at the meeting will be eligible to participate.
Can’t make the meeting? You may send a proxy vote with another member.
Give
Each member makes her $100 donation directly to the non-profit receiving the most votes. Make your contribution through Grapevine our secure online platform. You may also donate by check.
The chosen non-profits may also be eligible to receive matching funds.
We are an all-volunteer organization, run by members.
